In a few short hours, little V and I will be headed to the airport to pick up the huzband.  He has been away about 12 days and we are both looking forward to his return.  While he has been gone, we have filled our time with school, friends, grandparents, festivals, work and lots of things in between.  Here is just a glimpse of what us girls have been up to while the huzband is away!  (Note: I let the huzband take my camera so while he was gone I was sporting my old camera, a Canon Rebel XTi with a 50mm 1.8 lens.)

Happy Memorial Day!  We headed to Jersey for the holiday and saw our cousin march in a parade.

Though we both miss having the huzband around and nothing is not quite the same without him, I do relish in this time when I have her all to myself.  I don’t have to share her and she is always looking for me.  It’s like a non-stop mommy and V date for two weeks!  I am so thankful for this little girl who reminds me to take joy in all the little things in life!
